Takes 2 hours 33 min. fare is 13,520yen for one way.
When you visit Kyoto, a visit to some of the gardens of Imperial Palace ( Katsura Rikyu,
Kyoto Gosho, SyugakuinRikyu ) would be a high light of your visit. It is under the control
of the Household of Japanese Emperor and it is NOT a tourist spot. You need to apply for
a permission. Naturally there are many restrictions.
Easiest way to place a reservation is through a Web pag and follow their instructions
